Steve Vieregg is an Aurora, Colorado, resident who specializes in landscape and wildlife photography. A journalism major in college, Steve enjoyed a 30-year career in government, politics and public relations before becoming a full-time nature photographer in 2006. Already he has won several awards, including First Place for Photography at the Littleton Art Depot for his "Fall Textures" photo. His photos include scenic landscapes, brilliant displays of fall colors, sunrise reflections in mountain lakes, wildflowers and wildlife, particularly moose. "Through my photography, my goal is to enable the viewer to make an emotional connection with the beauty, wonder and magnificence found in nature," Steve says. "Often this means viewing everyday scenes from a different perspective." In addition to his photojournalism training and experience, Steve has taken workshops from some of Colorado's best and most well-known nature photographers, including John Fielder, Charles Campbell and Glenn Randall. Steve displays and sells his photos at various shows, festivals, restaurants and coffee shops throughout Colorado. |
